First Conversation

The main purpose of our first conversation is to determine whether we both think we might work well together and that I might be a good match for your needs. This is a free phone consultation. If our first conversation seems promising, then we can arrange to meet for an initial therapy session where you can talk about the issues bringing you to therapy and ask questions to find out more about me and my approach.

It may be helpful for you to know about my fees before contacting me — look here for information. My appointment times, depending on the day, are between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

I know it can be difficult to make the first contact with a new therapist. If you are feeling unsure or anxious about contacting me, why not take a small risk and send me a note right now? You won’t obligate yourself to anything but you will be able to gather more information if you desire.
